Individuals over 16 years old can easily and securely log in using BankID. Parents can access their children's health information through their own account. Upon first login, users must accept the terms of use.

There are various services accessible through HelsaMi, including:

1. Viewing, modifying, and booking appointments
2. Accessing medical records for an overview of diagnoses, allergies, vaccinations, and medications
3. Messaging healthcare professionals and receiving prompt responses
4. Video consultations
5. Access to test results
6. Participating in research
7. Providing access to relatives or viewing the medical records of authorized individuals
8. Users can also share measurements recorded on the Apple Health app with their doctors through HelsaMi.

HelsaMi retrieves health information from the new patient journal system, Helseplattformen. The available data depends on whether your municipality and general practitioner are part of Helseplattformen. All hospitals are integrated, with St.Olavs being the pioneer.

HelsaMi also offers tailored solutions for patients requiring extensive healthcare assistance, such as those with chronic illnesses.
